Hi, My side-by-side refirgerator/freezer is turned up to the coolest setting and is not working properly, the center divider between the two was extremely hot to touch for about the past month and today is finally cool when the frig/freezer began to cool down, can you help me with this problem?

sounds like you have a condenser issue, either the condenser fan is not turning and getting air movement across to condenser coils or the condenser coils are clogged with dust, hair, carpet fiber or whatnot. try cleaning the coils(under the fridge) and checking the fan(at the back of the fridge, behind the pannel) good luck and post your results here.

Thanks the coils were very dusty and while cleaning them, we found out the reason why the water will not come out for drinks. The condenser was so hot it melted the two plastic pipes that lead to the refrigerator and to the drink despenser. They were attached to the copper condenser lines from the manufacturer. Do you have a scematic or illustration to show how they should be reconnected and do you suggest attaching them eleswhere instead of the copper pipes. We are still cleaning the frig at this moment, so we arent sure the fan is running until we plug the frig back in. OK, the fan runs, but its real hard to clean any further suggestions?
