Just reread your original post and realized you said it doesn't do it in the rinse and hold cycle. That sounds like you have verified the water is circulating. If water is circulating normally then it would not be an impeller problem and likely points to something in the heater circuit having failed. These units have a flow switch in the heater circuit so either an impeller failure or a component in the heater circuit would cause the unit to run endlessly (because the water doesn't heat up). The rinse and hold will operate complete because that cycle doesn't call on the heater circuit to operate. When you run rinse and hold can you hear the spray arms operating or see them coming to a stop as you open the door during that cycle?

MY bosch dishwasher keeps running. it does not do it in the rinse hold function only the wash function. is this a control panel issue or something else
