I am thinking that there is something jammed in the pump, so check that out. If the pump is ok then the coupling may be broken and jamming things.

I have a maytag for about 2 years now, my washer will fill with water but won't agitate, spin, or drain i bought a new lid switch and replace it with the old one and its still doing the same, and when i turn it on for a little bit after the water fills i can smell this burn like rubber burn or electric burn, please help..
