Thank you for your response. Are there any tests I can perform to verify that the limiter / element is the issue before buying the part?
Thanks

Hi.
Yes, I think it's the limiter. It's not available without the element.

The model number you posted doesn't come up, please check and re post. The model # is correct, but I googled it by dropping a few of the last digits and came up with this. Looks like the one, except I have 4 burners. http://www.********************...el=6294679989&blt=06 Does the "red light" means the indicator on/off light or the hot surface light? Hot Surface Does your appliance made for USA or Canada? USA At this point without all the info I think that the hi-limit sensor at the element is bad. Based on the info supplied - do you still think it's the hi-limit sensor? Can the hi-limit sensor be obtained separately or is it part of the element? Simon.
Thanks

Hi, My Kenmore stove top has 2 issues.
1. The bottom right dual burner turns on for 20 seconds, then it turns off. At this point it will not turn back on unless I wait 10-15 minutes.
2. The red light is always on
I just replaced the dual element switch thinking it was the problem, but the problem still persists. Any ideas for next steps and testing what the issue may be?
Thanks
