Hi.

With the open end ranch on the blower wheel turn the motor shaft CW to take the blower off. You will need to take off two motor clips.

Check the motor start amps ( the info is on the motor tag ). If it's more than normal - the motor is going bad.

My Kenmore dryer worked fine for many years but now the start switch welds the contacts together after about a months of use. Have replaced the switch twice and it works for a time and then the contacts fuse. Line voltage is fine. I have taken the switch apart and seperated the contacts and filed them smooth and about 3 weeks later they are fused again. What is going on? Switch is part # 33404233
