I would remove the top of the pump and check the chopper assembly (#6 on the diagram). You can find more instructions in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...hirlpool-dishwasher.html

The upper rack on my dishwaher is not cleaning at all. The bottom seams just fine. It makes no unusual noise. I believe the upper spins somewhat, thou not sure. It may be a pressure problem? I have removed the spray tube and upper spray arm and there is no blockage. Is there supposed to be a rubber gasket that the spray arm fits into on the water tube ? I am not sure if it is sealing well when I close the door. On the water tube, are the rubber openings for the water suppose to be open or closed. The spray arm fits into one or the other depending on the height adjustmnet. I do not see anything unusual and need to know which parts to order. Any help is greatly appreciated.
