So, heres the real story. I was given a used whirlpool ultimate care 2 and it didn't heat up so I bought a new ignitor and I guess it broke when I put it in. When I took it out the black part was all broke. Anyway, I had some old dryers at work that had an ignitor that matched. I put it in and the first load heated up fine but the second load didn't at all. Si, I got another used one from work and the same thing happened first load fine and the second load nothing again.

Do I buy a NEW ignitor or does it sound like I have bigger problems?[/quote]
