I had the oven on bake when it decided to turn the top element on. It flashed a code and started beeping. I did not catch the code.....but I turned the oven off or so I thought. It would not shut off. I turned the breaker off and then turned it back on hoping it would reset itself. All it did was show that the oven clean light was lit and the display read cooling. I turned off the breaker again and have done nothing else. I want to say the error code started with and F3 but I cannot be certain. Is there a way to know what is wrong without the error code? Is this just a sensor needing replaced? Please help.

Hi Kathy,
If the oven stays "on" by itself then the problem is a bad control board, especially if it showed "clean" and "cooling".
If you need the right part number for the control board, post the color of the key panel.
Gene.
