I am having trouble with my oven and have two opinions of the problem with a Sears technician. I was first told the bottom element was bad. I bought an element and my husband replaced it and the bake still won't work. It heats to aprox. 160 degrees then stops and it take aprox. 1 hr. to get to that temp. I was then told by a technician that the control/clock was bad. I have just bought a new one and it is not working. It says broil when you plug it in and the buttons don't appear to work. What could be wrong. The installation seems pretty simple it was just hooking the wiring harnesses to the new card. Please give me some suggestions on what is need to repair my oven. Thanks, Chris:)

Here's a breakdown of your unit Model MER5775QAQStart by checking the thermal limiter(#18) on page one for continuity. Also check the oven sensor #3 onpage two. Post your results. Nat
