Quick question re: my gas dryer. This forum has been a tremendous assistance in the past. The gas dryer we retrofitted for drying animal treats has quit working after nearly a year. There is electric & gas, but no flame. Apparently, there is no signal that there is gas to turn the ignitor on. We have suspected one of the 3 thermostats, but not sure. Is it possible to individually jumper out each thermostat? It seems if I jumper one out & the unit ignites, that narrows the problem down to that thermostat. If I jumper all 3 out one at a time & nothing happens, the problem is something else. Good logic? The troubleshooting guide says for no heat to check out flame detector, timer, heat switch, motor switch 1 & 2, and thermostats. We can't afford a repairman, but no animal treat dryer is killing us! ANY help would be immensely appreciated! LenZ
