I have a GE gas dryer model number DBXR463GD2WW that will not start. I only get a click at the coils when trying to start it when the selector is in any of the heating options except "no heat". **When it is in "no heat" mode I only hear a small electrical surge in the timer, no click at the coils, which seems logical. **I have checked all the parts within the dryer for either continuity or proper ohms of resistance and they all check out okay (total of 11 parts). I also have run a test cord of 120v to a brand new motor I just bought and installed and it does run so I know it's not the motor. I confirmed 120v is present at the terminal of the wire that connects to the motor from the power cord. Also 120v is present at the terminal going to the motor from belt switch. To note there is a wire coming from door switch to the motor that is not carrying 120v when door is closed. Door switch was working as it should but I replaced it just in case but no luck, dryer won't start. Even though start switch checks out ok I jumped the wires to rule that out. Still just get click from the coils when trying to start the dryer when the selector switch is in any mode other than "no heat". Then I only hear an small electoral surge in the timer when attempting to start it. I am at a loss. Is wire from door switch to motor supposed to be carring 120v when door is closed? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.**
