dishwasher will not start. Has power. have replaced the fuse before. panel lights up when turned on but in section where time left is displayed there are 2 dashes?? does this mean I need to replace fuse again of is there something wrong with panel? also has message to add rinse aid?? this shouldn't cause it to not turn on??

I believe your model number should be KUDS01iJBL0.

I had to use upper and lower case because some idiot at Kitchenaide decided to use 1's and L's and i's in the model numbers.
Just venting as I personally cannot think of any reason to do this other than causing confusion.

Try removing power from the unit for a couple minutes to see if it will reset.

I cannot say if the rinse dispenser will cause this problem but if you take a look at the dispenser (Item 8 in Section 2), you will see that they did away with the level sensing as it caused more problems than it was worth.

Does anyone know what the 2 dashes in the status section on the front panel mean? dishwasher will not turn on. get error message on panel.
