My husband and I just replaced the control module on our Bosch. We ran the dishwasher through a cycle empty and now the "CL" won't clear off of the display and the diswasher won't run. What did we do wrong/what's wrong now?

Did you take the jumper off the old control module and use it on the new one?

Yes. We put the jumper back exactly as it was on the old module. We have reinstalled the old module and the dishwasher is working but with the same poor wash results--endless cycle.

So what is the problem: "endless cycle" or "CL" on the display? Can you be more specific, please?

The original module was replaced because the dishwasher was running for hours and the dishes were less than clean. When we hooked up the new module we ran it through one cycle empty. It seemed to run correctly but at the end of the cycle we couldn't clear the "CL" from the display--we flipped the circuit breaker and even removed and reinstalled the new module(it still displayed "CL"). We reinstalled the old module and that is working, but with the same poor results.

Sounds like the new part is defective. Who ever sold it to you, has to exchange the part.
