First I think you should check and make sure your water temperature in the tub is hot enough(I prefer 130 to 140 degrees in tub) minimum water temp is 120 degrees.

Low water temp. will delay the heat cycle and cause cycle to be extended. It could also give you a false fault code in a lot of cases.
If you need to or prefer to replace the heater assembly I have attached the part number and description of the part for reference.

I know the incoming water is plenty hot enough 155 in water tank and I tried preheating by running a near by faucet then running the DWasher - to no avail. Thank you for your assistance.

Most common cause of such problem is a bad heating circuit in the control module. The replacement instructions are attached to the reply.
