Brand: Whirlpool Model Number: WSF26C2EXY02 Main Symptom: condenser tray overflowing What happens & when: i hear a noise, like water is flowing through the hose, or something is filling up inside the refridgerator, then the circled piece appears to spray water from the white elbow connector, the one with the yellow ring above it, into the tray, causing it to overfill and spill onto the floor. Pretty sure the drain from the freezer would just drip into the tray not spray. I’m not sure what that piece does that its connected to, maybe filter one hose to water filter other hose to the ice maker? Not sure tbh. Looks like possibly a crack on it?

For model WSF26C2EXY02, it appears the leak may be coming from either the water dispenser line (WPW10271543 Refrigerator Water Tube Connector | Genuine Whirlpool OEM In Stock) or the ice maker water line ( WPW10238092 Refrigerator Water Supply Tube | Genuine Whirlpool OEM In Stock ). One quick way to determine which line is leaking is to have someone activate the water dispenser while you watch the area where the leak is occurring. If water leaks when the dispenser is used, the dispenser water line will need to be replaced. If no leak occurs during dispensing, then the ice maker water line is the more likely cause. This model is equipped with both an ice maker and through-the-door water dispenser, so either line could be responsible
Thank you so much for the reply! I zoomed in on the part I think where the water is spraying from. Does it look like this white elbow piece is cracked? I think it needs to be replaced?
Ended up going to a local Appliance parts store, and the guy there looked for a replacement part, but couldn’t find it. He recommended I just get a 1/4" tube and use that, which I did, and problem is now solved. No elbows needed at all. No more leaking or overflowing evaporator tray!
It was definitely the ice maker, because now I have a bunch more ice than I previously did.
