Brand: LG Model Number: DLGX3371V Main Symptom: works but doesnt blow hot air/ hi limit thermostat gets tripped and is resetable but after 1 or 2 uses will go back to no hot air. What happens & when: works but no hot air is coming out and hi limit thermostat gets tripped. If i reset it it works fine for about 2 uses and then it stops blowing hot air and thermostat will get tripped.
Error Code (if any): d80 / there is no blockages (i have already dismantle and cleaned the dryer)

i don’t think so. I have read a couple threads and i believe it is the High Limit Thermostat sensor because the switch does work and resets the sensor until it gets tripped.
If the failure does occur when the dryer vent is disconnected, there is a good chance the high limit thermostat is starting to weaken. However, if the failure stops when the vent is removed, there is likely a partial clog or full clog in the duct leading from the inside to the outside of the home.
