HI there dish washer wont fill Ichecked fill valve its ok but there is no 110 volt reading to wires but when i remove purple wire from water valve and put ground wire to fill valve water comes in the dishwasher please tell what needs to be replaced thanks

I have kenmore washar with 3 speed motor direct drive It works fine on regular wash and permanent wash but on gentel wash room light start to fliker and moter speed goes fast and slow it self and makes noise
