Wiring harness to evaporator fan - access

Main Symptom: New evaporator fan did not run, pin in wiring harness socket has come out of socket, wire remained in socket
What happens & when: New fan does not run. Appears Part #227 in Freezer schematic needs replacement. How do I get to it to replace or recrimp pin on to wire. Is it realistic for me to replace it myself. Unit is 7 1/2 years old.

If it is part ref #227, you can get it and replace it, but if it is the piece that #227 plugs into in the wall it is not a replaceable part. it is foamed into the freezer wall.
