The dishwasher will not start in any mode. You can hit cancel/drain and it will switch to drain and the motor runs but that is it. Is the control panel bad or is there something else I can check?
Here is your parts breakdown
Model DU915PWPB2
Here is a tech sheet
http://www.servicematters.com/docs/wiring/wiring_main.htm
Unit has a thermal fuse Item 4 in “Frame and console parts” section but the drain works so it is probably OK
When you say it does not start do you hear anything or does absolutely nothing happen.
If nothing
Remove the inner liner from the door
Check that everything looks OK and it is dry
Remove the plugs from the control board and reconnect them
Remove the ribbon cable that comes from the control panel to the control.
Check it for hairline cracks across the tracks a magnifying glass helps here
If it is the type that does not have a connector on the end (just insulation is missing) clean the contact tracks with a pencil eraser. Do not use an ink eraser it is too abrasive.
Not a bad idea to also clean the connector on the control board itself. You can use electronics cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush, just be gentle. Do not plug it back together till all the solvent has evaporated.
Then give it a try.
You can set any mode function and it all looks ok, you press start and nothing happens, no sounds, you don’t hear anything. I press cancel/drain and the motor starts to drain, press cancel again and it shuts off.
My earlier post may still apply perhaps it is just the start key connection that is bad
Speaking on bad I screwed up the link to your tech sheet
Here it is
