Whirlppol DW stops after pots and pans

My dishwasher stops after the pots and pan cycle. It will NOT start in any other cycle, only P&P. It just stops, and the timer does not move. I can reset to P%&P and it will go through again, and stop. Any ideas?

I would say that your timer is shot
If you look at the timer contacts 33 is used for Pots & Pans and 27 for Normal.
Odds are high that 27 is no longer making contact
