Main Symptom:Drain pump wont stop
**What happens & when:**I have a whirlpool front load washer mod WFW92HEFW0. I replaced the drain pump Dec 2024. It just now had an issue. It was flashing error code SUD and then F9 E1. So I pulled it out, took off back panel and pulled the filter. Cleaned everything out and reinstalled the filter. Now the drain pump wont stop running. Nothing on the control panel works but the door lock light keeps flashing. I tried tilting the machine to drain everything, but still doing this. Left it unplugged over night still doing the same thing. I am worried about letting the drain pump just run it could burn it up. What do I problem shoot next?
It has gone into an emergency drain mode.
Emergency drain should run for 6-10 minutes, allow the washer to run through this cycle. If this drain cycle is not allowed to complete then the washer will keep trying to run it until allowed to do so or the main control is replaced.
If the washer will complete the emergency drain, attempt to run a normal cycle to verify if everything is working normally now.
If the drain cycle does not complete after 6-10 minutes, disconnect the pressure hose from the pressure sensor WPW10448876 and allow the drain to run for an additional 6-10 minutes.
If the emergency drain stops after 6-10 minutes & does not go back into emergency drain when attempting to start the next cycle w/ the pressure hose disconnected there is a physical fault in the system such as suds, blockage, drain system issue, etc.
If the emergency drain does not stop or immediately goes back into the drain when attempting to start a cycle with the pressure hose disconnected then the pressure sensor has failed.
