Is the clock/display coming on or does it stay blank as well?

Originally the entire display went dark after a thunderstorm. When main control board replaced all display functions came back including the broiler but not the oven burner. I replaced the spark igniter because it was badly corroded but not help. I replaced the DSI board and then neither the oven nor the broiler worked. When I reinstalled the old DSI board the broiler started working again. I checked the cooling fan function from the main board and it was working. When I turn the oven on, I get a clicking in the Main board but no signs of ignition spark at the oven burner. I have checked all power inputs and all are on, including DSI board. I have checked ground integrity as well and everything seems to be grounded including the wall plug.

I did notice that the Main control board is a different part number. The old one is labeled w10453986.f and the new one is labeled w10759289.f. Might that make a difference.

I’d go back to the DSI board and make some checks.

First, with power disconnected from the range, I’d disconnect that harness from the DSI and take a resistance reading on that harness from solid red wire to to solid orange, then solid blue to solid orange. Should read about 200-240Ωs.

If either of those is bad then you have a bad valve solenoid and the valve W10861656 will need to be replaced.

Good or bad, I’d also make this check as well. Plug the range back in, start a bake cycle, and check voltage from the red wire with the white tracer to solid white. Looking for about 120v AC.

If that isn’t present then either the brand new control board is bad or the wiring in the harness between them is bad, that’s part of the main harness W10580281.

You can check for that same voltage at the control board from P2-3 RD/WH to P6-3 WH.

Here’s the tech sheet to help in referencing those test points.

As for the control board part #s it shouldn’t make any difference, they’re the same board. This manufacturer updates part #s all the time. They both substitute over to W11050551, which is the most current part # version of that control board.

thanks,

Resistances to both are 220

There is no voltage to the red wire with white tracer on the bake cycle at either the DSI board or the output on the control board. Broil gets 120V at both ends.

Ran the diagnostics and when the bake and broil cycles came on, I got the same results, no voltage from the oven side.
Also checked wire continuity on all wires and all checked out well.

How do I get a replacement Control Board?

If that board was ordered from us you’ll need to contact our customer service team at 1-877-477-7278.

Above all done and new DSI board allowed the oven to light. However, when I ran the internal testing again there was a keyboard failure Error F2E1 nonfunctional key or interface is bad. All functions work on the stove/oven except the rapid preheat. After replacing the Range Membrane Switch Pad, everything seems back to normal but I still get the same error messages when I run the diagnostics. May I just ignore that or is there a next step?

If it isn’t showing up outside of diagnostic mode you can ignore it, that code is just saved in the fault memeory.
