The best option for this would be to check the wiring at the top door hinge to make sure that there are no loose or damaged connections.

Thank you for the information. I did check the wiring at the top and bottom door hinges, and they are perfect with no damage. The water and ice dispense on and off within 2-3 seconds when the paddle is pressed. I replaced the display unit and the ice maker motor. But no help.

Put the unit into service diagnostics and go to the paddle test. See if there is an issue with the paddle. Here is a link to the tech sheet.

Sorry that I forgot to mention I replaced both paddles as well.

Is this happening only on water or just on ice or both?
