Parts or tests already tried: replaced thermistor, replaced air damper control,

Freezer works fine. Refrigerator freezes everything. Replaced the thermador and the air damper and it did not affect the problem. I put it in service mode and tried to run the diagnostics, but the display immediately goes to 01 at every diagnostic test (01, 02, 03, etc.). AI dialog says that this indicates a faulty control board. Is this likely to be my problem or are their other likely causes or diagnostic procedures that I should try first?

Assuming i should replace the control board, is W11043763 the correct part?

Thank you,

Randy

Is this appliance connected to water and is the ice maker making ice? Odd question, but it can be relevant on this style.

Also, are there tall items on the top shelves, any items at all on the shelf next to the ice maker, or are the top shelves set in relatively high positions in the fridge section?

It could be a control issue, but not because of those 01 readings in diag, AI doesn’t know how this diag mode reads if it is telling you that.

The refigerator is connected to water and the icemakeer works fine. There are no tall items on the top shelves or any items obstructing the air vent on the side of the icemaker that blows cold air into the refrigerator.

Any suggestions that I should try?

Make sure the freezer and fridge sections are set to recommended temps, 0 and 37, and check the actual temp in the freezer section. Take a thermometer and sandwich it between items in the freezer for about 10 minutes and check what it reads.

If it is more than 5°F below the temp set point then most likely the thermistor AP4538142 in the freezer is bad and telling the control it is too warm. If it does end up being the thermistor, you’ll be replacing the one attached to the back of the evaporator cover, the new one is probably going to look different than the original thermistor but it’ll work just the same.

If the temp in the freezer is where it should be then you are probably looking at replacing the main control board AP6050245 since you’ve already done the fridge thermistor and damper.
