Brand: Whirlpool Model Number:WRS588FIHZ00 Main Symptom: Dispenser display randomly and continuously beeping. When display was removed to small amount of water dripped from part.
What happens & when: Without interrogation the ice/ water maker will start beeping as if a button were pushed. Sometimes it switches to lock screen and beeps, others beeps on main display screen.
Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: Display was replaced previously for another issue, dispenser paddle for water replaced. Ice chute door and motor replaced.

On the WRS588FIHZ00, the fact that the dispenser is randomly beeping/acting like buttons are being pushed, combined with water actually dripping out when the dispenser UI was removed, strongly points to moisture getting into the dispenser interface area.
The dispenser user-interface board for this model is W11130216.
I would not replace the display again yet. First find where the moisture is coming from, because a new UI can be damaged the same way.
What I would check
Unplug the refrigerator.
Remove the dispenser interface again. There are locking tabs along the bottom; release them and pull the bottom outward, then rotate the interface down.
Look closely for:
Water droplets on the UI board/connectors
Green/white corrosion on terminals
Water tracks coming down from above the UI
Moisture around the ice chute opening
Water around the dispenser water tube
The dispenser water tube in the door is WPW10386778, so inspect that tube and its routing particularly closely.
The ice chute is especially important
Even though the ice chute door and motor have already been replaced, make sure the chute door is actually closing completely and sealing tightly every time.
If it hangs open even slightly, warm room air enters the freezer/dispenser area. That can create condensation and frost, and that moisture can migrate into the dispenser electronics. Similar moisture intrusion on this model has been associated with erratic dispenser/display behavior.
Since the chute components were recently replaced, also check that:
The flap isn’t binding.
The seal sits flat all the way around.
No ice fragment is holding it open.
The motor returns the door fully closed.
There isn’t water or melting ice coming down the chute from above.
Quick isolation test
Once everything is completely dry, reconnect the UI and operate the refrigerator with the dispenser area exposed enough to observe it.
If the beeping returns with no moisture appearing, disconnect the UI again. If the random beeping stops completely with the UI disconnected, the W11130216 interface has likely already been damaged by the moisture.
But if you see new water forming or running into that area, fix that leak first.
Based on the water you found, I’d put the diagnosis in this order:
water/moisture intrusion → contaminated or damaged W11130216 dispenser UI → random phantom button presses/beeping.
I would concentrate on finding the moisture source before considering the main refrigerator control board.
