My dishwasher clean light started flashing 7 times and would not start running. I looked up the control reset sequence Santi Heated-dry Santi Heated-dry and this caused all the lights to start flashing and it with through a diagnositcs cycle. After this it allowed me to start washing but in the middle of the wash the clean light started flashing again 7 times. This time i turned the circuit breaker off for 30 minutes and then back on and the clean light was still flashing so i activated the diagnostic reset cycle again and now it is working. However, the dishes are not drying even though i have the heat dry on. Does this mean that i have a bad heating element or could the controller be bad. I am not sure which part to replace first. Does anyone know a way to test the continuity of the heating element without pulling the washer all the way out to acces the terminals of the heating element. Thanks

I am assuming that you have the tech sheet with the wiring diagram since you were able to run diags.

Could be either. Also I believe the heating element has a hi-limit thermostat in line with it so it may be open. Cannot find a wiring diagram to confirm this.

You should be able to get to the heater circuit at the control board.
Though you will have to remove the door’s inner panel, this may be easier for you especially if you have top disconnect the water line and power line.
I do not have the tech sheek with the wiring diagram. I found the diagnostic reset code online in another post. Where can i get a copy of this tech sheet? Thanks
