**Brand:**Whirlpool Quiet Partner II
Model Number: DU1055XTVSA
Main Symptom: doesn’t complete cycles
What happens & when: The dishwasher intermittently would stall with a blinking light, and we would push the resume and it would finish. At one point it completely went dead. We replaced the thermal fuse and it worked again, but the intermittent problem continued and increased in regularity until it was consistent and then it got worse requiring multiple resume pushes. We bought a new control board from Applianceparts pros and it worked well for about 3 weeks, then the intermittent-stopping started again, at first 1x every few days, then daily, and then 22x to get a load of dishes to go through a whole cycle. I pulled the board and checked the wiring and it looked ok, and after pulling all the connectors on the board and reinserting them, the dishwasher worked normally again for a few days, but now once again is progressively stalling and requiring pushing the resume button.
Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: The following were confirmed to work: Heating system, drain system, door latch. The wiring to the control board all looked fine as does the control board itself, i.e., no obvious breaks or burn marks or corrosion.
We didn’t check the Motor / Pump harness or load/current.
Replaced the Dishwasher Electronic Control Board by Whirlpool, from Applianceparts pros order 16904855, Part #: WPW10285180 (AP6018711).
