Whirlpool gas over will not hold heat

Please make sure to click on General above and select the correct appliance type first.

Brand:Whirlpool
Model Number:WFG540H0AS1
Main Symptom:Oven will intermittently not hold heat.
What happens & when:Oven comes up to temperature and maintain temp for random amounts of time but almost always will quit heating completly. At first it seemed like touching the timer or changing oven temp made it more likely to stop lose heat. We replaced the $300 control panel that I bought on this site. It appeared to have fixed it for a few times but it is now doing the same thing almost every time we use it. I have checked the resistance on the temp sensor and at room temp it was 1,084 ohms. When the oven quits working the display still shows the set temp but I do not hear the gas valve attempting to open or the click of the ignitor. Any help would be appreciated.

Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried:Main control panel bought on this site. Checked resistance of temp sensor - was 1,084 at room temp.

Hello, you have the DSI spark system that uses a spark module to send voltage to spark igniters. The spark module is also what opens the gas valve to release gas to the igniters. If you replaced the spark module, the gas valve is really all that is left to replace. WPW10602004 Gas Valve And Regulator | Genuine Whirlpool OEM In Stock
