Whirlpool gas dryer heater circuit not energizing

Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: GGW9200L
Main Symptom: heater circuit not energizing
What happens & when: Control on with lights normal, Start button pushed, motor runs, drum rotates, no error codes. Placed in diagnostic test mode- no error codes. Heating circuit does not energize. Thermistor resistance within spec with wires testing good. Jumping the Heater Relay connections to energize the heater circuit results in gas ignition and heat generation. This shows that the components in the heating circuit are functioning (Thermal fuse, High Limit Thermostat, Centrifugal Switch). I replaced the Control Board and still no heat.

Error Code (if any): None
Parts or tests already tried: Thermistor resistance within spec. Thermistor wiring checked and good. Thermal Fuse not blown, High Limit Thermostat contact closed, heater works when it is energized with power. Replaced Control Board but the problem did not go away.

If the heat circuit is working when you bypass the relay, the control board would be the most logical cause. Check to make sure that there is no issue with the neutral part of the circuit but the control board will be the most likely issue.
