My Whirlpool dryer only warms up. Model number LDR3822DQ1. It is a 110V dryer. I checked the heating element and read 10 ohms. I also checked when it was running and it was getting 110 V. Everything else works fine. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Did it ever get hotter or it it new to you?
These dryers do not put out much heat.
As you can see from the wiring diagram the heating coil is 1,400 watts.
A 240 volt dryer usually has a coil that puts out around 4,500 watts.
The thermostat looks like it is adjustable, you could try turning it to max. to get a little more heat.

Thank you for the reply Denman. It did get hotter before. I looked around inside the dryer and I could not find the thermostat. Where is it located? thank you again.
