Whirlpool dishwasher not spraying during wash cycle

Diagnosing whirlpool dishwasher WDT720PADM2. Does initial rinse, drains, can hear basin filling and then a series of click from the door panel and bottom of unit. No spraying Sometimes it will randomly function correctly by spraying. But then the next attempt back to no spraying. I was thinking the issue is the pump # W11032770. But I would like to have your advice

Certainly check to make sure that there is 120 vac to the pump when it is supposed to be operating but not. If there is not 120 vac then the issue will be with the control board and if there is then the circulation pump will be the issue.

How do I check while the unit is connected and operating

You would need to remove the lower access panel and access the pump at the bottom of the unit.
