Whirlpool clicking a lot but not filling or spinning

Brand: Whirlpool Cabrio
Model Number: WTW5600XWO
Main Symptom: No water, no movement
What happens & when: The panel works fine but when I start a cycle, the lid locks and then nothing happens. If I click start cycle and wait, it will turn on and off again a few times and click a lot but won’t pump water or do anything.

Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: I have recalibrated and reset the machine multiple times according to instructions.I have replaced the shift actuator, the drain hose, and the full door latch kit.

Start by placing the machine into the service diagnostic mode. See the attached tech sheet, top-right hand side of page two for instructions.

I tried that and have done it between each of the pieces I’ve replaced. No dice so far. Appreciate any tips

If it fails to go into diagnostics, the issue will likely be the control board.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer has discontinued this part, and it is no longer available.

As far as I can tell, it enters diagnostic mode (the lights flash as described, etc) but it doesn’t produce any error codes or anything. It remains in that state for a while with the lights on indicating diagnostic mode and then it turns off

From the sounds of it, you likely have a faulty board, as it does not go into the manual or automatic test modes. The manufacturer has discontinued this part, W10393393 - [AP5272941].
