Could you better describe what is going on?

Washer was running in “clean” cycle, no clothes inside tub. After washer completed cycle, I went to check and there was water all over the floor - abt 2 gals…I also saw some fabric debris. Watched a video on how to chk error codes using diagnostic mode. Error code was F8E1.

left washer unplugged for 24 hrs and ran diagnostics again, this time error codes were F3E1. decided to run a small load of whites. Fill and Wash cycles completed without incident or leak. Rinse started and appeared to near completion, but entire wash cycle stopped, ALL lights off. I waited for 5 mis to see if cycle would restart, it did not. I opened lid and there was no standing water in tub, but clothes were soaked. Ran the drain& spin cycle setting. I could hear water draining out. Drain/Spin ran for 10 mins to completion without incident or leak. When I took the clothes out they were damp (ready for the dryer) but not soaked. Any comments or suggestions?

after the wash test cycle, seems like water came in and went out ok (without leaks)…

Wash cycle test # 2: washed a load of towels. Wash cycled thru all stages without stopping and with no leaks. Lid lock light only came on during spin cycle (never took note b4), is this normal? Lid light off at end of wash cycle. Ran diagnostics and error code F3E1 still came up.

It could be detergent residue or build-up tricking the system, but running the clean washer cycle with a couple of cups of white vinegar should take care of that. If the issue continues you might have a bad pressure sensor on the main control board W11498797.

Thank you. Sir! Forgot to mention that the initial water all over the place was while/after running the clean cycle with an Affresh tablet. Also did another test load (#3), this time wash cycle stopped before Spin cycle started. No water in tub, but clothes soaked. Ran Drain & Spin cycle and that completed without incident. I will proceed as suggested.
