Not sure what you mean.
Is the unit not filling with water?
OR
Is it not pumping the water up to the spay arms?

Sorry for lack of detail, there is very little water in the bottom it doesnt even come above the screen. I can hear the motor running but nothing happpens

OK, then it is probably a problem with the water inlet valve.

First you have to check that the valve is getting power when it should, it should be 115 volts. Note the control board or the overflow switch can stop it from getting power.

If you do not have a meter at least check that the overflow switch under the float assembly is actuated.

If it is getting power remove the water valve and clean/check the filter screen on the input side of the valve. This is a common cause of no water. Do not remove/discard it as it is there to keep crud out of the valve which could hold it open and cause a flood.

If the screen is clean the valve needs replacing.

Alright
I have no voltage at the float switch or the water valve, nor do I get any voltage at the circuit board(ps04-8)

I also checked for ohms and I got 1051 ohms

I do not have a wiring diagram for this unit so cannot comment on no voltage at PS4-8. I am assuming that this is the wire from the control that runs down to the float switch or the valve which are wired in series. You may want to check it for continuity, sometimes they can break internally where they go under the unit.

Looks like a fairly old unit so if you can determine that it is either the control board or the timer that is causing the problem it probably makes more sense to replace the machine.

you are right it is 10 years old and I do have continuity from the board to the switch. Thanks for your help

You are welcome.

Sorry, it did not have a better out come.
