This would be a high calcium content that is in the supply water. It will not show until the water get colder. Have you water tested for high calcuim.
no, i have not tested my water, i do have a water softener as well. what would i do once i had my water tested?
The first step is to check the water and then we would go from there but typically it is nothing to do with the refrigerator causing this.
but wouldnt having the water softner take care of that?
also, my other faucets dont have this in the water…just the fridge water
That is understandable since it normally will start when the water gets cold. Also, try to take a glass of water from the sink and let it sit and see if it develops the same thing.
