Water Filling but not going any further

I purchased a used dishwasher that was supposed to only need a new control board which I had with it. The control board was replaced, but the problem still persisted. When any cycle starts, the water fills, but then nothing happens after that. No click to hear anything starting, no timer count down, or any clicking. It will stay where it’s at without any time out or cancelation. When I click the start/reset, it drains. I’m not sure if it’s filling all the way or what is making it stop filling. What should I look for? Thank you

Hello,

Remove the toe panel. Remove the wires from the wash pump motor and check for 120 VAC between the white & blue wires while the control calls for wash.

If the reading is correct, replace the pump motor.

If the reading is incorrect, check all wires inside the door. If there is nothing wrong then the control board you installed is defective.

I replaced both the control module and the pump but the dishwasher still doesn’t kick into the wash cycle after filling. This goes for all of the wash and rinse settings. The water fills and then there is no next cycle or timer count down. Could there be another sensor(s) or something which tells the control unit to move to the next cycle and start the timer count down? Also, when the water is filling, the timer doesn’t count down.

I’m willing to purchase whatever electrical components to troubleshoot.

Thank you

Have you checked the voltage to the pump motor before you replaced the parts?

I purchased the motor kit from appliancepartspros.com and the error code I’m receiving is er-uo. I’m showing that it’s the vent, but I’m not sure if I should order that and try or get another control which I did replace at the beginning. Please help.

Hello,

This error code means that the vent did not close. Did you verify it?

You did not answer my question from December.
