I took apart the drain hose, cleaning it out. I cleaned out the pump. There was lots of lint and pennies, I may have burned up the pump or motor since it was filled with gunk. Is it likely a new pump / motor #AP4308966 will fix my washer. (it starts washing but won’t drain giving a error code of F-21)It costs about 68.00:)

You could try diagnostics,
Or
Unplug the unit and pump and measure it for resistance. If infinite resistance (open), it needs replacing
Or
Check for voltage at the pump when it should be running. If you have 120 volts and it is not running, it is toast
Or
Remove it from the unit, hook it up to a line cord and see if it will run.
