Washer tub not spinning - Maytag MVW7232HW0

Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MVW7232HW0
Main Symptom: Washer tub not spinning

Error Code (if any): F6E3; F7E3; F7E4

When I reference part numbers, this is from the parts diagram from the APP website.

Washer quit working a couple weeks ago. The tub would not spin, the washer plate would move somewhat. I found out how to enter service mode and initially got the Error Code F7E4. That code indicated replacing the clutch (part #9). When I looked under the washer, there was grease spun around the bottom of the inside of the case so I also assumed the gear box went bad. I replaced both the clutch (part #9) and gear box (part #1) with new OEM parts. Same problem persists and then got error codes F6E3, F7E3, and F7E4. I then decided to replace the other clutch (part #7) and the stator (part #6), again, new OEM parts. Still the same problem (though the washer plate seems to be working better) and same codes (F6E3, F7E3, F7E4) pop up. The tub is not spinning and cycles will not complete without it. The pump seems to be working as any water put in is pumped out.

Where do I go next? The only part of the motor I have not replaced is the rotor (part #11). Is there something else I should be checking?

Thanks

For the error codes listed: F6E3 Communication Error: ACU Cannot Hear MCU‡. The Fault is displayed when communication between the ACU and the MCU has not been detected.
In your tech sheet, try test number 1…Main control (ACU)

Then for error codes F7E3 Basket Engaged DuringWash…& F7E4Basket Re-engagement Failure: The shifter is not engaging the basket for spin or disengaging it for wash.

  1. Check shifter connectors, then 2. Check for clothing or another item wedged between the impeller and the basket that could bind them together 3. Check that the shifter slider moves freely. Then try test 3a from the tech sheet (drive system) washer-repair-help
