Washer agitates but will not drain or spin when it gets to rinse cycle

My washer fills, agitates then when it is suppose to drain it just stops. I can turn timer to rinse and it agitates but will not drain or spin. Lowered drain hose and drained tub, took water pump off and nothing in it or hoses. Does this model have a belt that controls pump. Please any info before I give up!!!

Most likely the problem is a bad lid switch (#9 on the diagram). In order to replace it you have to remove the washer cabinet.
