Just received the heater element for my 110.66912692 kenmore dryer and cutoff-tml. I have put every thing back together (wires) on the heater assembly in the dryer but am having a little trouble setting the heater assembly back into the back of dryer. Any tips for getting the two circular parts to line up once all the wires have been reattached, or should I unattach again? I had to pull the metal cylindar before I was able to remove the cutoff and -tml when I was checking the machine prior to ordering parts.
You can get this together with the wires attached. It is tricky, but you will need to get the bottom of the heater housing inside the air duct opening, then work it back and forth and side to side until it seats.
