Main Symptom: compressor wont start
What happens & when: checked the control board, thermostat and made sure voltage was going to the compressor but will not stay running… tried then stops

Unfortunately there is no service manual for this model. It was made by Whirlpool but branded and sold by Sears/Kenmore, so it can be difficult finding technical information on them. I have attached the tech sheet for this model below.

Since you have verified power to the compressor you are looking at the start device assembly WPW10189190 with the relay and overload, the run capacitor WPW10662129, or the compressor W10139462 itself. If it is starting but not staying running I’d probably start with that capacitor.
