hi have lg fridge bottom freezer top of fridge seems fine but freezer not freezing help please
A model number may help others help you.
Note: Sears does not make anything so and often trying to cross reference this back to a manufacturer’s model to get tech info is impossible.
LG is an especially hard one as they seem to have more model numbers than anyone else. Their numbers often start with an L and then 3 more letters and a series of numbers. It would be a big help if their model number is on the unit.
First find out if the compressor is running. You can usually hear it also you should be able to feel it vibrating and it should be warm.
If it is cycling on/off then it is probably a thermostat problem.
If it is not coming on it could also be a thermostat, or a compressor or a compressor start device problem.
If it is on all the time it could be a sealed system problem (this includes the compressor) or a defrost problem or a fan problem. May be even just very dirty condenser coils.

Here is a good link for service manuals as you can see LG has lots.

You have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer.
You could try finding your unit or something close on this site.
This site used to have a daily download limit so it may kick you out after a few downloads.
