The replacement board has different size spade connectors they plug-in, but they’re very loose and don’t appear to be making contact. Do I need to cut the contact leads and put small contacts on them

Are you sure that you have the correct board? If you could include the model and serial number of the appliance I could verify it for you.

Yes. I double checked with your parts department and they said it’s the correct one. They also said there has been several changes to the part number since my microwave but this was still the right one.

Unfortunately without knowing the model number of your microwave. I would not be able to identify what may have occurred the new part. If you could include the part number that was ordered as well it will me verify compatability
