The flapper on the ice chute won't stay closed

Should I change the chute flapper (door) while I am at it? It looks like I need to remove the front stainless skin from the freezer door to access it…Is that correct? And if so any issues with removing the skin?

Yes, I’ve attached both part numbers. I would recommend replacing both at the same time. It’s better to do them together so you don’t have to go back in and replace the other one later.
