If I got it right the problem is the “on-off” switch does not stay in “on” position?

What is the complete model number of the dishwasher?

The Model No. is SHI4302UC/ uc06 if I hold the button it runs.
[FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3][COLOR=#000000]The on off switch only works if you hold it in; I just rebuilt the pump and cleared the debris from the water inlet solenoid… Why won’t the button hold? Is there some other component that needs to engage before the button stays in?[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

If the switch does not stay “on” then it has to be replaced.
