I have an Estate dishwaser model tud6750rd2. I noticed the other night that it was just making a buzzing noise and the dial seemed to have stopped right after the word “Rinse”, and didn’t move for over an hour. During this time, no water entered the tub, but the heating element was on. How can I fix this?
I decided to try disconnecting and reconnecting some wires to see if maybe there was a bad connection. So I disconnected the harness to the water inlet valve, and the main harness connecting to the pump. After doing so, it was a miracle, the rinse cycle worked. So I thought, yay, it’s fixed. Next time I went to run a load, again, the rinse cycle froze. So I disconnected the water inlet valve, reconnected and tried the rinse cycle again. No luck, still just a buzzing sound and no water entering the unit. So I then disconnected the main wiring harness to the pump, plugged it back in, tried the rinse cycle again, and low and behold water entered and the rinse cycle again worked just fine. I didn’t have time to test this again and see if it’s still working. Why would the rinse cycle suddenly work after disconnecting and reconnection the main wiring harness?
