Stained Dryer

My dryer is stained with something blue all on the inside of the dryer and seems to transfer to clothes while drying. Is there anything that will clean the inside of the dryer so this will stop happening?

You have to find a solvent that works with what sounds like ink.

Start with soap and water
THEN
Isopropyl alcohol
THEN
Varsol (minerals spirits) use the odorless type. It will cut back on the stink.

What ever you use, use it sparingly.
The last 2 are flammable so be careful you do not want to start a fire.
After cleaning leave the door open overnight to get rid of most of the fumes.
Then run it on air only to be sure it is solvent free.
Then low heat and then high heat.

You did not say if it was gas or electric, gas of coarse increases the danger.

Note you may have to pull the unit apart to properly clean it.
Also if you use a solvent try not to get it on the felt drum seals.
With Varsol it would not be a bad idea to also use soap and water to get rid of any residue inside the drum.
