My dishwasher started to make a very loud noise recently. I took the front panel off and found that the motor that opens the soap/jet dry dispenser (part number 8558129) was opening and closing very fast and would not stop. I ordered and replaced this part assuming that the motor was bad. After I replaced the part, the same thing happened to my dishwasher. Can anyone tell me whats going on and what I should do to fix the problem?

Sounds like the control/timer has a problem.
