The soap dispenser will not open during wash cycle.
It will open manually, but not electrically.
What’s best way to tell if it’s soap dispenser or not?

I need to replace the soap dispenser but am unable to remove the top screw. The screw will turn but will not screw out so something is blocking its removal.
I was hoping to drill it out, but don’t know what is behind it (hoping it just a area where a screw goes)
I believe this was a factory error as I’ve never tried to remove this inner door
panel before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
