I found a small hole, about the size of a ballpoint pen point, in the bottom of my dishwasher which has created a leak. What would be the best way to patch it . It’s right below the heat coil.
Thanks, Jon V

sometimes i will cut a small piece of plastic from margerine top ,clean and dry area ,place over hole, dab silicone glue on top and spread evenly .let dry 24 hours
Silicone cement will not last on vinyl tub. Best to use a real vinyl cement. Check at a hardware store or Lowes.
Also, if the hole is acessable, use some glue and a chrome screw.
there was no mention that the tub is plastic

Thanks for the help. I did the Mrfixall patch and used aquarium silicone which I’ve used on my hot tub. I guess the dishwasher tub is plastic, I’m not sure what else it would be. I will be doing a Christmas day test drive, I’ll let you all know how it goes. Again thanks to all and have a wonderful holiday.

Thanks to all, leak has stopped. I guess I’ll cover the patch with vinyl cement just to make sure…Thanks again, Jon V
